VOICE POLICY

1. CONSENT & VOICE RIGHTS

Required Consent Elements

• Speaker identity verification (name, contact method used for consent).
• Clear explanation of CloneCast's voice cloning process and output capabilities.
• Disclosure of potential commercial use or public distribution.
• Speaker acknowledgment that cloned voice may sound highly realistic.

Prohibited without consent: Cloning celebrities, politicians, minors, or any individual without verifiable permission tied to your specific use case.

2. PERMITTED VOICE APPLICATIONS

CloneCast voices may be used for lawful purposes including:

• Personal projects and entertainment.
• Public persons or persons who are of global importance for educational design.
• Educational content and internal corporate training.
• Marketing communications where synthetic nature is understood by recipients.
• Sales based agents for representation.
• Creative media production with proper rights clearance.

Disclosure Requirements

In sensitive contexts (political content, financial advice, health information, or legal scenarios), you must clearly disclose that the voice contains synthetic elements created with CloneCast.

Where required by law or distribution platforms, you must comply with applicable disclosure requirements.

3. PROHIBITED VOICE USES

CloneCast employs automated detection and reserves the right to immediately suspend accounts, delete content, and report illegal activity to authorities.

4. USER REPRESENTATIONS & WARRANTIES

By uploading voice samples, you represent and warrant:

• You have all necessary rights, consents, and licenses for the voice material.
• The voice does not violate privacy laws, publicity rights, or intellectual property of third parties.
• You will not use cloned voices in ways that expose CloneCast to legal liability.
• You will indemnify CloneCast against claims arising from your voice use, including regulatory fines, civil lawsuits, or criminal investigations.

Misrepresentation of consent or rights constitutes immediate account termination without refund.

5. OWNERSHIP & LICENSING

5.1 Your Recordings

You retain ownership of original voice samples uploaded to CloneCast.

5.2 Cloned Voices

Synthetic outputs belong to you, subject to CloneCast's limited license to process and store voiceprints for your Casts only.

5.3 CloneCast Rights

You grant CloneCast a worldwide license to process voice data solely to deliver your Cast services.

5.4 Data Handling

Voiceprints are stored securely, never sold to third parties, and not used to train generalized models benefiting other users. Data deletion follows Privacy Policy timelines upon account closure.

6. LIABILITY LIMITATIONS & DISCLAIMERS

CloneCast Is Not Liable For

• Third-party claims against your voice usage (defamation, IP disputes, privacy violations).
• Losses from fraudulent use by you or your Casts.
• Regulatory penalties you incur for non-compliance with local AI/voice laws.
• Damage to your reputation from public backlash against synthetic content.
• Any harm, injury, or damages resulting from misuse of cloned voices by you or third parties.
• Legal costs, settlements, or judgments arising from your violation of this Voice Policy.

Your exclusive remedy for service issues is account credit (not cash refunds), per Terms of Service.

7. VOICE REVOCATION & TAKEDOWN

Voice owners (or authorized representatives) may request:

• Immediate clone deactivation via support@clonecast.io with identity verification.
• Content removal from CloneCast Platform (third-party platforms require separate requests).
• Data deletion following legal retention periods.

CloneCast processes verified requests within 7 business days. Frivolous or forged requests may result in account sanctions.

8. DETECTION & ENFORCEMENT

8.1 Automated Voice Monitoring

Automated voice monitoring scans for:

• Known voiceprint matches against reported abuse cases.
• Prohibited content patterns in generated speech.
• Abnormal usage patterns indicating fraud.

8.2 Enforcement Actions

Enforcement actions range from content removal to permanent bans, with severe violations reported to law enforcement.

9. GOVERNING LAW

This Voice Policy follows Terms of Service jurisdiction (England and Wales law). Voice-specific disputes may also consider the uploading user's local laws where applicable.
